So this is something for all of you guys. I wrote a song in record time! And this is the 1st attempt of recording so, hehe, i know my voice cracked and my chords slipped a bit, but hey? I'm going to Phuket!



Story Behind It

All the various events that is happening around Cyberia these days, including a pervert who is groping people in the A1 or C1 block elevators - ladies, beware - and also a recent event in which i got hit by a womanizer - screw you! - and of course, about my excitement of going to phuket! Whoo hoo!

My dream of traveling around the world is in the making!

the first time in a long time

I watch these guys dancing, laughing, smiling... in pairs. A number that describes them as lovers. In the middle of a house filled with couples, I am there, minus a better half of me that I haven't met yet.

My mind wanders.

PMS is making me mellow. Boy, do I know how hard it is for me to fall. And then its taking me more than a year to get over it all. God made my heart small, but it can fit a million feelings with constant feedback and echo. Remembering how it feels, although I can't remember a face, or the sound of a voice. Just the feeling, but I remember it well. Gosh, it feels like a million years ago.

Love is overrated, but I have over-rated it. And its making me set my standards high, so I guess I'm not that easy to get by.

Which makes me unapproachable. I guess. Does it? People may know me, but they don't know whats going on inside my heart. Do you?Or are you just making wild guesses that aren't even close?

Where is that place I'm missing? I'm so comfortable where I am now, I'm afraid I don't want it to change. Where is that place I'm missing? Somewhere I want to call home. Somewhere I haven't been in a long time.

And then I'm charmed. Tall, dark, but not so handsome. From afar. Then nearby. As you open your mouth to speak, I begin to smile.

What an ordinary voice, but I seem to remember it well.

Infatuation? Hmm, maybe. Most probably.

A chat, an exchange of smile, a laugh, a secret. It was nothing, until I had a dream about it.

And then I can't stop thinking about it.

I skipped a heartbeat. I'm choking as I breathe.

I can feel it. A new story is about to begin.

And then I start to daydream about it...

...wait, I don't even know your name.



I snap back to reality, then looked at the couples surrounding me.

I guess for now, I'll just dance and laugh and smile along with them.

regarding no smoking day

Did you guys know that last Monday it was "No Smoking Day"? That's why MMU made it a public holiday, coz MMU doesn't support smokers! No, I'm kidding, last Monday was a holiday because it was Maulid Nabi, had nothing to do with No Smoking Day.

But smoking has been an issue for so many years. Many people start to realize the disadvantages of smoking, while the younger generation are getting more exposed to it.

The smokers say that smoking is good for monitoring your health, coz if the doctor forbids you to smoke, that means you're not healthy, but if you're huffing and puffing away, it means you're fit as a horse. Hehehe, lame excuse.

The non-smokers say that they are victims of secondhand smoking - and its true! - and they are trying to get all these smokers to quit.

But smoking creates a big industry. From the cigarrette factories, to R&D labs who study lung cancer and the cancerous chemicals that are found in cigarrettes, from the people who produces nikotin patches to special toothpaste for smokers, everyone will be affected if smoking was banned!

But even without the smokers, the world is polluted enough, not to metion the contribution of cigarrette butts to the pile of imbiodegradable - is that the right spelling? - trash. The streets are easily littered by those irresponsable smokers who throw away their cigarrette butts ANYWHERE!! Darn those litterers.

So, smoking, there is still a HUGE argument of whether it should be banned or not. But, I hope those non-smokers get to say, "Yo! It's No Smoking Day!" to those smokers on last Monday. What do you guys think about smoking?

And on this topic, I would like to contribute one of my own original songs about smoking, and smokers in particular.



Story Behind It

This song was written not so long ago, on the 19th of September 2008. This was my dark ages, when I was 6 kg lighter than now - I know, I'm FAT now, but I'm happier, hhahahaa - and when I was half-depressed. And playing around with some chords, I remembered how a friend of mine once said that, "My girlfriend is my cigarette. I'm devoted to it, and I'll be faithful to it. And it will always be there when I need it."

Uh, talk about addiction, but what he said ringed in my ear, and then I wrote a song... about devotion to a cigarrette. All those smokers out there, do you feel me???

Dreams are possible if you think of it hard enough!

When you stop dreaming, it stops happening, so dream, keep dreaming, and make that dream into reality. When you believe it can happen, a way to it will be paved from the heavens.

But dream realizations need dedication, commitment and hard work. So don't just dream it, but do something about it.

And most importantly, dream realizations need a lot of money. So,

note to self: Study hard, be a rich accountant, and finance your dreams! Money!!!!!

You are never too old for your dreams.


MY DREAMS:

• Write and finish a novel
• Create and record my songs [nicely, not crappy bathroom recordings]
• Become a lecturer
• Give environmental contribution to the Indonesian community

I wrote those dreams without actually knowing how to make it come true, but it seems that God is a better planner than I am. He is paving a road, and I have a duty to finish it.

Hope is on the horizon.

What a day!

I would LOVE to tell you guys about my adventure today, but I'm drowning in my tasks in which the deadline is coming nearer and nearer.

Long story short, I went to class today, then went to KL then got stuck in a stand-still traffic jam, and came home at 9.30. Not so interesting? Wait 'til you hear the details!

Anyway, I'm so tired, but I still need to do a LOT of things, so how do I quickly re-charge??

Quick update!

First, I went to KL on Saturday and bought a new mp3! It's this one!I'm so happy!! Okay, lets give it a name! Hmmm, any ideas guys? I named my guitar Black Jack, nicknamed Jeki, my laptop is Bleki, and my PC is Blecka - so lame! hahahaa. I have names for everything! Is dat weird? Give me your ideas of what I should name my new MP3!

Second, I'm going to meet my lovely duh-ling Mr. A to Z! Ahahahahhaaha, Jason, Jason!!!! *faint*

On Wednesday, 4th March 2009 I'm going to KL to watch Jason Mraz!! Arrrrghhhh!!

So meetings, assignments, work, anything... hueheuheue, sorry ya'll, but this is the rest I've earned! Yee-haa!

I'll catch up with everything after the 4th of March, but on that day, sorry ya'll, I cannot be disturb!


Third, MY SISTER IS COMING, I'M SO HAPPY!!!!!! From the 7th-9th of March my sister will be visiting, so nothing is gonna disturb me!! No rehersals, no work, no studying, just sister-time ya'll!

Okay, now I've got tons of work to do - which I'll be happily doing - so this is just a quick update.

And last of everything... I'M NOT MELLOW OR DEPRESSED ANYMORE! I'M SO HAPPY, THANK YOU GOD! I LOVE YOU!
